TORONTO, March 30, 2020 /CNW/ - Our health care and Personal Support Workers keep our clients safe and healthy and we are doing what we can to ensure that they can stay safe and healthy as they provide the necessary care for clients in our programs throughout the City of Toronto.
In our effort to respond to shortages of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) anticipated across the broader health continuum, Bellwoods has launched a COMMUNITY CALL FOR ACTION to seek help. We are asking our community, supporters and anyone with unopened and sealed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to donate them.

Established over 60 years ago, Bellwoods is a charitable, not-for-profit organization in the Bellwoods Trinity Community. Our personal support services are provided to individuals with physical support needs, seniors, as well as those at risk of homelessness at eight housing sites in the City of Toronto. We also offer a range of Transition Programs that include a hospital to community reintegration program, in-home respite, attendant outreach, health education and care navigation to support clients ready to leave hospital following an illness or a debilitating injury. Many of our clients are living with physical disabilities as well as other complex health conditions. Many have limited incomes and family/social support networks.
