Bellwoods Issues Call for Community Action in Response to COVID-19

TORONTO, March 30, 2020 /CNW/ - Our health care and Personal Support Workers keep our clients safe and healthy and we are doing what we can to ensure that they can stay safe and healthy as they provide the necessary care for clients in our programs throughout the City of Toronto.

In our effort to respond to shortages of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) anticipated across the broader health continuum, Bellwoods has launched a COMMUNITY CALL FOR ACTION to seek help.  We are asking our community, supporters and anyone with unopened and sealed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to donate them.

If you can help in any way please call (416) 447-1168.

Bellwoods' clients and staff are grateful for the care and compassion being received from our supporters and members of our community amid COVID-19 isolation. Some have already reached out to offer help.  We thank you and we need you!
