Car Buying and Ownership for the Stay-at-Home Era: Luther Automotive Group Announces New Services

MINNEAPOLIS, March 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Since 1952, the Luther Automotive Group has served Minnesota drivers and communities, and nothing has changed. Today, the group announced the addition of new online sales, service tools and special accommodations to ensure essential workers have safe and reliable transportation to support the community during the Stay-at-Home-Minnesota era.

With a focus on protecting the health of the community, the new online tools allow customers to securely initiate sales and service transactions and communicate with sales or service representatives via phone, email, and text and from the comfort of their homes. The group also announced that essential services, including vehicle maintenance, parts, and sales will be available at all Luther locations during this time.

David Luther, president and CEO of the group, said, "We intend to do everything we can to protect the health of our employees, guests and communities, and to ensure that everyone has access to safe and reliable transportation."

For customers in need of service, participating Service Centers are offering home pickup and delivery, and all service centers have dedicated service drop-off and pickup locations complying with social distancing guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control. Vehicles are thoroughly sanitized throughout the process to protect the service technician and customer.

For customers in need of a new car, secure financing and trade valuation tools are now available online. Product specialists are also available via phone, email, and text to answer questions or provide video tours and test drives. To protect guests and staff, the sales departments will remain open by appointment only. Private test drives are also available by appointment at the dealership and at home through participating dealers.

"The safety and well-being of our employees and their families, our guests, and our communities, is of the utmost importance to me, personally, and to our management team, as we navigate this uncharted territory," said Luther.
