Tuesday Capital Announces Promotion of Prashant Fonseka to Partner and David Jee to Associate

SAN FRANCISCO, March 19, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Tuesday Capital is proud to announce the promotions of Prashant Fonseka to Partner and David Jee to Associate. Prashant started with the firm as an intern in the Summer of 2013 and David started with the firm as an intern in the winter of 2015. From their very first days, Prashant and David have been valued members of the Tuesday family and instrumental to the success of the firm.

Amongst the first investments in which Prashant provided diligence was Cruise Automation (later acquired by GM) and he is responsible for investments in Anchor (acquired by Spotify) and Iron Ox, two of Tuesday's top performers. In his new role Prashant will continue to lead investments and provide strategic guidance to Tuesday portfolio founders. Prashant is a generalist consumer, enterprise, and frontier technology investor with particular expertise in AR/VR and has been quoted in leading publications including TechCrunch, Barron's, and Fast Company.

As an Associate, David focuses on early-stage companies - whether that's pre-seed, seed, pre-product or pre-revenue - across all industries indicative of his diverse interests.
