Howard University School of Business Teams Up With Noodle Partners To Expand Access To Top-Ranked Elite Global Business Education Online

WASHINGTON, March 12, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Howard University School of Business (HUSB), whose MBA has ranked #1 Greatest Resource for Minority Students for 16 consecutive years, announced its partnership with Noodle Partners to launch an Online MBA and invest in the growth of its online Executive MBA (EMBA). HUSB will enhance its globally recognized programs by implementing a flexible online format with the goal of expanding accessibility to the University's high-quality learning environment and close-knit community. Both the Online MBA and the EMBA are now accepting applications for the summer 2020 term.

"The School of Business is committed to continuing our legacy of providing superior business education to minority students and diversifying the global workforce," said Barron H. Harvey, dean of the School of Business. "We chose to work with Noodle Partners because of their innovative approach, commitment to efficiency, and transparent practices. With their help, we have broadened our capacity to meet students wherever they are in their careers?and in the world?and we could not be more excited."

Howard University School of Business, the only HBCU ranked Best Business School by Bloomberg Businessweek, collaborated with Noodle Partners, the fastest-growing online program manager, to further the University's mission of preparing the next generation of global business leaders. HUSB will focus on leveraging this new partnership to better meet the needs of their current online students, while increasing accessibility to unique and diverse student populations across the country.

"For the last 50 years the School of Business has been a leader in global business education," Harvey continued. "Our MBA and executive education programs provide training to diverse business leaders who not only lead in their industries and a variety of sectors, but who also champion the creation of more diverse and culturally aware businesses that can better serve diverse populations."

This marks the first HBCU partner for Noodle Partners, which has already contributed to the changing demographics of graduate degree programs nationally and internationally. Fifty percent of graduate students in Noodle Partners programs are from underrepresented ethnic groups? a full 16 percentage points higher than the national average.

"We admire Howard's commitment to academic excellence, service to the global community, and continued leadership in education. Most notably, HUSB's dedication to preparing and fostering a strong community of business leaders," said John Katzman, CEO of Noodle Partners. "These flexible online programs significantly increase access to Howard's business school, mobilizing an entirely new range of qualified candidates from across the country and around the world."

Howard University School of Business? which is commemorating its 50th anniversary? has a long reputation of cultivating the top managers and executives in business, government, and nonprofit organizations globally; it was the first business school in D.C. to be AACSB accredited. Howard University is the only HBCU to be ranked in the top 100 on U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list.

Students in the Online MBA will learn to lead, manage, train, network and work with people of culturally diverse backgrounds in a globally socio-economic business environment. Now equipped with even more efficient program management tools, the Online EMBA will continue to prepare experienced business professionals for high-level leadership positions throughout the business world, focusing on executive readiness and strategic thinking.

"The online Executive MBA program has proven to be a great success in past years, helping to propel students to another level in their careers," said Kim Wells, Howard's director of Executive Education Programs. "Taking this step to expand and improve online management of the program speaks to our commitment to providing the best possible experience for our students."
