Selection Group announces postponement of open houses this weekend at Sélection Retraite complexes

MONTRÉAL, March 11, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - Selection Group places the well-being and health of its residents and employees at the heart of its priorities. Due to recent developments in connection with the COVID-19 (coronavirus), Selection Group has decided to postpone open house events scheduled for Sunday, March 15th at all of Sélection Retraite complexes.

Our open house day, which is eagerly awaited and appreciated by residents, is focused on discovery and meeting new people. It is a fun event, which means that it must take place in a relaxed and safe environment. The event will thus be postponed to a later date.

We have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation since the announcement of the first cases in China. Numerous prevention measures have been deployed at Sélection Retraite complexes and communicated to our residents, employees and visitors. We take the recommendations of Québec Premier François Legault and public health authorities very seriously. We ask our partners, suppliers, subcontractors and commercial tenants to cooperate during this period.

People who are interested in visiting our complexes before the open house event is rescheduled are invited to contact the complex of their choice for personalized "VIP" visits. Just dial 1-844-RETRAITE or visit www.selectionretraite.com

Quotes

"Our residents' and employees' well-being are key priorities for Selection Group. We were monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely before it was even identified in Québec. Our rigorous processes to mitigate contagion risks have been applied in our complexes. Reminders have been distributed to our residents, employees, visitors and suppliers. No cases have been identified in our complexes. Postponement of the open house event is another measure to ensure that we provide a healthy and safe environment for our residents and employees."?
