Projetech Director Receives IBM Champion Award

CINCINNATI, March 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Projetech, a global provider of IBM Maximo as a Service (MaaS), is pleased to announce that its Director of Development, Steven Shull was honored for the fifth consecutive year as an IBM Champion. The program recognizes individuals that make extraordinary contributions to the knowledge base of IBM products in the technical community. Shull is one of a handful of Maximo experts in the world to receive this honor. He was nominated in the IBM Watson Internet of Things category.

Shull is an expert on the technical side of Maximo, from integration and upgrades to customizations and troubleshooting. He shares his wealth of knowledge through online forums to further assist Maximo users with day-to-day issues and concerns whilst also serving as a trusted resource to IBM for the development of Maximo products.

"It's an honor to be named as an IBM Champion for 2020," said Shull. "It has been an honor to assist in mentoring Maximo users throughout the years and to work alongside such a talented team both at IBM and at Projetech. I look forward to the upcoming technological advancements in the industry to continue developing and sharing the knowledge we have attained."

IBM champions have exclusive access to events, online forums, IBM roadmaps, announcements and product development teams. There are 604 Champions for 2020.

"It has been truly rewarding to see Steven grow throughout the years and to be recognized by industry peers for his hard work and dedication to the Maximo service," said Steve Richmond, CEO of Projetech. "Because of team members such as Steve, Projetech will continue to deliver the highest quality of customer care and continue to stay at the forefront of the technology behind Maximo."

IBM Champions are selected annually through a nomination process. An IBM panel considers a nominee's community impact, expertise and overall contributions to determine who becomes a Champion.
