Invacare Corporation Introduces New Brand of Power Wheelchairs With Launch of the Invacare® AVIVAtm FX Power Wheelchair

Invacare Corporation (NYSE: IVC) announced today the launch of the Invacare® AVIVAtm FX Power Wheelchair, setting a new standard for the front-wheel drive power mobility market. The power wheelchair will be available for order on Friday, March 6, 2020.

"We are proud to introduce the next generation of Invacare power mobility products with the AVIVA FX Power Wheelchair. The AVIVA brand has a unique identity that conveys a promise of best-in-class design, technology and performance. The AVIVA FX Power Wheelchair will offer current front-wheel drive users a high-performance chair that is an innovative leap forward in front-wheel drive power mobility," said Joost Beltman, vice president, sales and marketing for North America.

Commenting on the new product launch, Matt Monaghan, chairman, president and chief executive officer, added, "At Invacare, we remain focused on developing and bringing compelling products to market. We are excited for the launch of the AVIVA FX Power Wheelchair, which represents just the tip of our full pipeline of innovations we plan to commercialize in 2020."

It's easy to see why the new standard in front-wheel drive is unbeatable:

Technology

Rehab-redefining LiNX® Technology continues to redefine the set-up process with new and improved features. From pre-set programming parameters, to live wireless programming, to integration with ASL specialty controls, LiNX Technology can make set-up as simple as turning on the LiNX remote.

Design

The AVIVA FX Power Wheelchair is more than just a sleek base. A unique open stack design allows the tires, wheels and hubs, gearboxes and motors to be easily removed. And, with all electronics placed at the rear of the unit, wiring and connections are easy to see and access with the rear cover removed.

Performance

The all new patent-pending Invacare® 4Suretm Suspension features articulating front anti-tippers, springs and shock absorbers all working together to help keep all four wheels on the ground, even over curbs and other obstacles. Combined with standard Invacare® G-Trac Technology and LiNX Technology's improved Adaptive Load Compensation, the AVIVA FX Power Wheelchair is designed to help make short work of curbs, slopes and uneven surfaces while keeping the client in control and comfort.
