"Atlantic has spent the past several years establishing ourselves as one of the top security pure plays in the northeast.  Expanding to the southeast is a logical progression and having someone like Scott joining us to champion that expansion is not only exciting, but it all but ensures our success," said Rick Romkey, Principal and founder of Atlantic Data Security.  Romkey continued, "Over the past two decades I have worked with Scott in several capacities and he brings a unique energy and passion to the table.  His reputation in the industry is beyond reproach and we are looking forward to helping Scott introduce Atlantic's unique approach to IT Security to this new market."

"Security has evolved over the past few decades in a way that no one could have predicted.  The challenges used to focus on making sure the perimeter of an organization was safe.  Almost all of the interaction with a company's data was internal and when external it was very limited and addressed through virtual private networks and encryption.  IT transformation and advances in cloud technology has turned that architecture on its head.  Utilizing the cloud to make your company more proficient and to also increase the experience of your partners and customers become the de-facto standard.  The benefits of these advancements in technology are extremely impactful and beneficial to companies of all sizes.  It also expands the complexity of addressing their security concerns.  More and more external experts are needed to stay on top of the ever changing and expanding environments, cyber talent is incredibly hard to come by and to retain," said Mr. Kasper. "The experience and services provided by Atlantic Data present a very real opportunity for our customers to derive the benefits of digital transformation, allowing them to accelerate business growth and desired business outcomes in a secure manner.
