Kolos Cement Improves Operational Efficiencies in Oracle Cloud Financials Using Orbit Reporting and Analytics

ALPHARETTA, Ga., Feb. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kolos Cement, the largest cement supplier in Mauritius serving the needs of major infrastructure projects throughout the country, has implemented Orbit Analytics Cloud as its corporate Financial Reporting and BI solution for Oracle Financials Cloud.

Kolos Cement evaluated multiple cloud-based BI tools and found that Orbit Analytics best met their operational and financial reporting and BI needs. Orbit's comprehensive cloud-based solution with its built-in integration with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials fit perfectly for their day-to-day financial operations and management reporting, while handling data security and user management effectively.

"Our primary goal during the software evaluation was to select a reporting solution that our finance team could use easily to get the desired operational efficiencies using our business data in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and reduce our IT dependencies. I'm pleased that with Orbit Analytics we achieved both objectives and we also gained a partner who collaborated with us throughout the process," said Kolos CFO Ashley Seebaluck.

Shezad Oozeerkhan, IT Manager at Kolos said, "We evaluated Orbit Reporting and Analytics, Hyperion, Qlik, and Power BI over a period of 6 months and found Orbit to be the most complete solution that provided true self-service operational reporting and analytics capabilities that also came with a proper financial reporting solution built into its cloud platform."

"The Kolos Cement team clearly knew their business objectives during the software evaluation, and they engaged with our team with clarity and efficiency," said Orbit Analytics CEO Rupesh Sharma. "I'm pleased that Orbit Analytics is recognized as a strategic partner by Kolos Cement to support its impressive growth."
