Media Advisory - Black History Month 2020: Microaggression in the Legal Workplace Program and Networking Reception


TORONTO, Feb. 20, 2020 /CNW/ - The Law Society of Ontario and Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) present Dr. Anita Jack-Davies as the keynote speaker at their annual Black History Month program and Networking Reception. The focus of this year's event is Microaggression in the Legal Workplace.

Dr. Jack-Davies is an academic and cross-cultural expert, who is currently serving as Ryerson University's Director of Strategic Partnerships and Development with the Office of the Vice-President for Equity and Community Inclusion and is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Urban Planning at Queen's University.

The program will also feature Natasha Persaud, who practices exclusively in the areas of human rights and employment law as a partner at Formative LLP, as well as Doron Gold, a registered social worker, psychotherapist and a certified professional coach.
