Thrive Center welcomes newest partner, Rendever to showcase social VR platform


BOSTON, Feb. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rendever, a virtual reality company dedicated to reducing social isolation and depression in the aging population through shared, immersive experiences, announced today that they will be the newest technology showcased at the world-renowned Thrive Center today.

The Thrive Center, based in Louisville, KY, is a 7,500 square foot space that features innovative technology and specialized programming to improve the aging process. Their mission is to transform the quality of life and quality of care for the more than 111 million U.S. citizens age 50 plus and 46 million ages 65 and older.

From senior living communities to hospitals, Rendever's platform is being used to reduce depression and loneliness by fostering personal connections amongst populations where life has become limited. Participants in group sessions can check off bucket list items together, revisit meaningful places and share stories, stay engaged with family members, and more. Rendever is active in nearly 150 communities and organizations, and is being used by high-profile senior living operators including Revera, Benchmark, and SRG, healthcare systems such as UCHealth and the Cleveland Clinic, leads research funded by the NIH and NIA, and engages in commercial partnerships with major organizations like AARP and Verizon.

The Thrive Center and Rendever are hosting an open-house launch event to celebrate their new partnership on February 21, 2020 from 2:00-5:00pm at 204 E. Market St in Louisville, KY. This event is open to the public and guests will have an opportunity to meet the teams, try Rendever's product, and enjoy a rich networking opportunity over light hor d'oeuvres and beverages.
