Industry Leading Insurance TPA George Hills Makes Strategic Acquisition

George Hills, a leading TPA providing claims adjusting services to the public and private sector, announced today the acquisition of RMS (assets and employees), a full-service risk management firm serving the San Francisco Bay Area.

"We are very excited about this acquisition to continue the dynamic growth of George Hills," said John Chaquica, George Hills CEO. "We have greatly expanded market share throughout California, especially the southern California market, and now we continue strengthening our position in northern California."

RMS, located in Sonoma County, focuses on public entities with extensive experience in general liability and property claims with a focus on claim adjusting, investigations, litigation management, and representation during settlement conferences.

RMS services and specialties fit uniquely with George Hills. Chaquica is excited about a smooth transition of clients and adding the RMS team into the George Hills culture.

"The RMS team knows our work, and their level of service and client support is a good match for us," Chaquica added. "They bring 25 years of experience to our 66 years of business operations. We expect continued growth throughout California while providing a very attentive level of service the big firms can't provide."

George Hills is based in Sacramento with offices throughout California. The firm focuses on TPA service/claims management, JPA Management, and related insurance solutions for public sector and select private businesses and corporations. George Hills remains on the forefront of the industry through customized IT systems, training programs, and risk management support.

George Hills Company was founded in Sacramento in 1954 to revolutionize the claims administration service industry. With a focus on California public and private entities and insurance carriers, Mr. Hills identified problems and issues with existing providers and created solutions to change the industry. That vision continues under current CEO and sole owner John Chaquica and his team working through eight offices in California.
