KPW Productions Closes Sister Company TableArt

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 5, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- KPW Productions, an event planning, design and production company, announced the closure of its floral design business, TableArt.

In addition to announcing the closure of TableArt, KPW Productions also unveiled a new website to better reflect its core service offerings in wedding and special event planning and design.

TableArt opened in 1990 as a floral design company and later expanded to include KPW Productions, which provides full-scale event planning, design and management services.

Dissolving TableArt allows Kathy Warden, owner and creative director of KPW Productions, and her team to devote more time to the intricate details and management strategies involved in event planning.

During its nearly three decades in business, TableArt managed the floral designs for major events such as the grand opening of the National Museum of American Jewish History with special guests Barbara Streisand and Jerry Seinfeld, and the 1,200-guest 250th Celebration Gala for the Raymond and Ruth Perelman School of Medicine (Penn Medicine) at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, planned in coordination with Baruch Gayton Entertainment Group.

Additional milestones for TableArt and KPW Productions include being selected as the planner and designer for the first wedding held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as well as being recognized as a preferred vendor for the Barnes Foundation, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and other historic venues in Philadelphia. Additionally, TableArt has supported nonprofits -- The Franklin Institute, Stepping Stone Scholars, Summer Search, Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support, Greener Partners and SpeakUp! -- by planning and designing their special events.

"I have always believed that form follows function. In order to design a successful event, it must function as well as look beautiful, and managing the logistics and functionality of events is something the KPW team, which often also has worked on TableArt projects, does extremely well," said Warden. "Our focus is the art and architecture of the party."

Although KPW Productions will no longer produce floral designs for clients' events, it will continue to provide design consultation and collaborate with floral designers as part of the event planning team. KPW's role as design consultant includes evaluating the guest experience and programming of the event to inform the design and development of the overall floor plan. KPW will continue to work with clients and caterers to select all decorative details for the event space, including lighting, draping, specialty furniture rental and tabletop details. It is in this capacity that KPW will refer florists, lighting companies and rental companies to achieve the client's desired aesthetic.

"We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with many of the talented vendors who call this city home, including floral designers who are building a presence in the Philadelphia event world. After all, the success of any event depends on the team behind it," Warden added.
