Gary and Mary West Senior Dental Center Appoints Donald M. Casey, Jr. to Board of Directors

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The nonprofit Gary and Mary West Senior Dental Center, an organization dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality oral healthcare to low-income seniors in California, announced today that it has appointed Donald M. Casey, Jr. to its board of directors. Casey is CEO of Dentsply Sirona, the world's largest manufacturer of dental products and equipment and the former CEO of Cardinal Health Inc.'s medical segment, a leading supplier of equipment and services to hospitals, labs and other healthcare facilities.

From 2010 to 2012, the veteran business leader served as the first CEO of the West Health Institute, the applied medical research arm of West Health, a family of nonprofit organizations dedicated to lowering healthcare costs and enabling successful aging. Before that, Casey spent 25 years at Johnson & Johnson, where he served in various executive positions including worldwide chairman for the company's comprehensive care group.
