Introducing Fine Arts Skin and Laser's Newest Arrival: EMsculpt®

DOVER, Ohio, Jan. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This fall, patients gained more options for body contouring at Fine Arts Skin & Laser Facial Plastic Surgery in Ohio. EMsculpt® joined the extensive roster of available non-surgical body services, including WarmSculptingtm with SculpSure® laser technology and EndyMedtm radiofrequency technology. EMsculpt® is the first fat reduction device of its kind that also builds muscle tissue during a treatment session. It is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for enhancing contours and definition on the abdomen, buttocks, arms, and legs.

The high-intensity machine, which recently debuted in the plastic surgery world, is designed for both fat reduction and muscle conditioning. It works by applying electromagnetic energy (hence the first two letters in its name, "EM") to stimulate intense muscle contractions in localized areas. These powerful "super maximal contractions" are too strong for the body to achieve with traditional workouts alone. Within just one 30-minute session, EMsculpt® stimulates 20,000 contractions (the equivalent of 20,000 repetitions of crunches or squats). The body grows muscle mass in response to this treatment, as well as destroys fat cells in the same area. The treatment requires no downtime afterward and results in an average 23 percent increase in muscle and 27 percent decrease in fat.

Sometimes, you can do all the right things, but attaining your dream body may still be a challenge due to age, genetics, your natural body type, or hormones. Eating clean and exercising regularly are good habits to maintain for your health and to keep overall weight down, but what about those small, tricky fat bulges that never seem to slim down?

Note that EMsculpt® is not a weight loss procedure, but works best for women and men who are already close to their ideal size, active, and healthy, but simply want to add extra refinements.

To learn more about the benefits of EMsculpt®, reach out to Ohio's Fine Arts Skin & Laser Facial Plastic Surgery, serving Dover and surrounding locales. Call 330-364-5656 or fill out a contact form online.
