Evans Capacitor Company Awarded Contracts totaling $7 Million for Capacitors Providing DC Storage for State of the Art Airborne Radar
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I., Jan. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Northrop Grumman has awarded Evans Capacitor Company, the 2018 SBA National Subcontractor of the year, $7 million in follow-on orders to produce high power capacitors. This follow-on contract solidifies Evans Capacitor Company's involvement as a key subcontractor for the production of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye surveillance and battlespace command aircraft. "This contract continues our participation in the E-2D program, which is now in full production. Our technical solution has been enabling this program since inception and is positioned to continue for many years to come," says Evans Capacitor CEO, Charles E. Dewey.
