The Existence of God, and Other "Modern Catholic Concerns"

NEW YORK, Jan. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Over the last century, the number of Catholics around the world has more than tripled (currently, 50 percent of all Christians are Catholic). Recently, however, those numbers are declining.

In "Modern Catholic Concerns," Peter Mazurek provides a guide for making more informed decisions in relation to religious beliefs. Mazurek examines the existence of God, the divinity of Jesus, and the Christian view on modern social issues.

"I provide a synopsis of years of Catholic theology," Mazurek said. "Instead of needing to pour over centuries of material from Catholic theologians throughout history to find their answers, modern Catholics need only to look to this brief, easy-to-read summary of issues and their findings."

Mazurek's book comes from a layperson's point of view and provides evidence-based arguments for topics, from the origin of the universe and development of life on earth, to contemporary issues like suicide, euthanasia, abortion, cloning, child sexual abuse and the church-state relationship.

"This book is a tool for providing fact-based evidence for Catholics, confronted by issues that cause concern or questioning of their faith," Mazurek said. "It provides answers, to affirm the validity and reasonableness of the Catholic faith."
