First Databank Names Brian Taylor Vice President of Sales


First Databank, Inc. (FDB), the leading provider of drug and medical device knowledge that helps healthcare professionals make precise decisions, announced today the appointment of Brian Taylor as vice president of sales. Taylor joins FDB from fellow Hearst Health company, MCG Health, where he served as head of MCG's premium sales group and was instrumental in driving record sales performance. Taylor will report directly to FDB President Bob Katter.

During his tenure at MCG, Taylor has championed proven sales methodologies that have consistently led to exceeding annual revenue growth targets. During this time, MCG has focused on driving superior value to its customers as demonstrated by its industry-leading customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance. Throughout his entire sales career, Brian has led high-performing sales teams to achieve double-digit revenue increases and has generated nearly $1 billion in revenue within startup and established businesses. Earlier in his career, Taylor held senior sales positions at Emdeon, Imprivata and 3M Health.
