Jerry Dias Media Availability and Rally at Co-op Refinery Lockout


REGINA, Jan. 21, 2020 /CNW/ - Unifor National President Jerry Dias will be available to speak to media at 10:30 am outside the Co-op Cardlock and Unifor activists will hold a rally at 12:30 pm on the picket line at the Co-op Refinery.

"While the Co-op spends millions of dollars trying to break our union, hundreds of union activists are mobilizing to join our picket line, after Regina police arrested me and 13 others last night on a legal picket," said Jerry Dias, Unifor National President.

Nearly 800 highly skilled members of Unifor Local 594 remain locked out from the Co-op Refinery, which continues to rely on unqualified scab workers and managers to operate the refinery.
