Indeed Launches New Experience to Support Career Journey

Indeed, the world's number one job site, today announced the launch of a new experience, Indeed Job Market, to help further support job seekers on their career journey. Indeed Job Market offers job seekers free resources to help maneuver today's evolving career landscape from search to offer. The new experience includes resume and interview advice, an online community to offer support and inspiration, and transformative in-person experiences.

While unemployment is the lowest it's been in 50 years, finding a job can still be a challenge for many. Indeed Job Market aims to bridge the gap between deciding to make your next career step and securing the perfect role. By offering specific, tangible insights and advice, Indeed Job Market helps job seekers take advantage of new opportunities.

The Experience

Indeed Job Market's digital hub will feature curated content from career experts, evidence-based job search tips and community support. In addition to resources geared specifically to job seekers, the digital hub will also have content for career counselors and workforce development staff.

Indeed Job Market will host eight in-person events across the U.S., which will feature inspirational speakers, career advice, resume help, refreshments and a relaxing environment to network. These events are free and open to the public, and kick off in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 23-24. Day one of the D.C. event will feature a conversation between Indeed's VP of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, LaFawn Davis, and chef and humanitarian José Andrés about his unique journey, and day two is a hiring event with a local employer.
