Nubix.io Recognized by the 2020 Tech Ascension Awards as the Most Innovative Container Solution

Nubix.io, a pioneer in edge-native containers and analytics for the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced it has been recognized as the Most Innovative Container Solution by the 2020 Tech Ascension Awards.

Nubix.io's tiny containers are purpose-built for microcontrollers and single board computers (SBCs) and can be rapidly deployed on tiny edge devices. While many common cloud solutions are too large for tiny devices, Nubix.io containers are sized in kilobytes and are small enough to be placed directly on chips and sensors used by IoT devices. On-device processing eliminates the latency, bandwidth, connectivity and cost constraints of moving massive amounts of data from a vast number of connected sensors. This edge-native container technology, along with the Nubix.io Developer Platform, allows for the cloud-like ability to develop once and deploy anywhere using the same code across multiple platforms.

"With the rise of IoT, edge computing architectures are growing in dominance, but until recently, computing could only be performed close to the edge," said Rachel Taylor, CEO, Nubix.io. "Our tiny containers and services bring processing and analytics to tiny devices and IoT sensors?the true edge. We've found that within industrial IoT, energy, transit and many other implementations the performance and cost-saving benefits are significant, and we are quickly gaining traction within these markets."

Applicants were judged based on technology innovation and uniqueness, market research (analyst reports, media coverage, customer case studies), hard performance stats and competitive differentiators. The class-leading vendors that received recognition from the Tech Ascension Awards proved their technology solves critical industry challenges and produces invaluable business outcomes for their customers.

"In the age of high-volume IoT innovation, organizations need a purpose-built platform, like Nubix.io, to run directly on IoT sensors and microcontrollers," said David Campbell, CEO, Tech Ascension Awards. "Nubix.io is recognized for its edge-native container technology that provides a unique develop-once, deploy-anywhere capability that enables developers to use the same code across platforms, saving time and maximizing development velocity."

The Tech Ascension Awards recognized the very best innovations in SecOps, DevOps and container technology. In the inaugural round of the Tech Ascension Awards, over 50 cutting-edge companies submitted, and only a handful were selected that stood above the rest.

About Nubix.io

Nubix.io provides the industry's first edge-native containers, bringing cloud-like operations to the smallest microcontrollers used for IoT applications. At least 100x smaller than standard Linux containers, only Nubix.io moves analytics right to the source of the data?the absolute edge?eliminating the cost, complexity and latency of moving massive amounts of data to and from IoT devices. Using Nubix.io's out-of-the-box tiny services, developers can create and deploy IoT applications in just minutes, no C/C++ required. For more information, visit https://www.nubix.io.

About the Tech Ascension Awards

The Tech Ascension Awards elevate companies that possess cutting-edge, innovative technology that solve critical challenges in their respective markets. Tech Ascension winners rise above the crowded consumer and enterprise technology industries and receive validation from an independent organization. Applicants are judged based on technology innovation and uniqueness, market research (analyst reports, media coverage, customer case studies), hard performance stats, and competitive differentiators. The awards recognize leaders in cybersecurity, DevOps, big data and consumer technology. For information about the Tech Ascension Awards, please visit www.techascensionawards.com.
