Veronica Gonzalez Joins The NHP Foundation

NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The NHP Foundation (NHPF) announced today that Veronica Gonzalez has been named Regional Director of Development for the Midwest, working in the organization's Chicago office. Ms. Gonzalez brings over 20 years of experience managing complex multifamily, mixed finance redevelopments for public housing authorities, municipalities, and private affordable housing developers to NHPF. In her most recent role she was the VP for Real Estate Development at The Resurrection Project ? a local not for profit development corporation that provides community investment through homeownership, rental housing, and community services throughout Chicago's southwest neighborhoods and western suburbs.

At NHPF, Ms. Gonzalez's primary focus is on Chicago and Midwest opportunities. Her responsibilities at NHPF include project conceptualization, predevelopment, deal execution and project closeout. She maintains local relationships to partner and facilitate development of affordable housing.

Ms. Gonzalez, a native of Chicago who currently lives in Oak Park, received her Bachelor of Arts, Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago and obtained her Master of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
