Enforcement Notice Hearing - IIROC Begins Disciplinary Action Against Former London Investment Advisor Sean Michael Nother


TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2019 /CNW/ - An appearance has been scheduled before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) for the purpose of setting a date for the disciplinary hearing in the matter of Sean Michael Nother.

The discipline hearing concerns allegations that:

Between May and August 2018, Mr. Nother breached the standards of conduct when he was involved with, and involved clients and non-clients in, a gifting club ? contrary to Consolidated Rule 1400.

 

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Mr. Nother's conduct in April 2019. The alleged violations occurred while he was a Registered Representative with the London branch of CIBC World Markets Inc., an IIROC-regulated firm. Mr. Nother is not currently registered with an IIROC-regulated firm.

The set date appearance is open to the public, unless the Hearing Panel orders otherwise. The date for the discipline hearing will be made available at www.iiroc.ca.
