Local dealership Runs a Toy Drive Through the Christmas in the City Program

LEXINGTON, Mass., Dec. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lexington Toyota has been a family-owned business since 1977. The dealership strives to create an upfront and honest environment for all its customers. For shoppers looking to buy a new or used vehicle, Lexington Toyota has an extensive inventory to choose from which includes Toyota vehicles like the RAV4, Camry, Tacoma and Highlander.

This holiday season, Lexington Toyota has partnered with Christmas in the City to help families in need. The goal is to help out over 5,000 children who are homeless or are in need. The toy drive will last until December 20.

Christmas in the City was created to relieve the impact of homelessness and poverty in the Boston-area. This non-profit organization is 100 percent run by volunteers. The goal of the organization is to help families make the transition from homelessness and poverty to a life of independence. Some services from the program include finding housing, help to find jobs and assistance with medical expenses.

The organization would like donations of new, unwrapped toys. Used toys are not accepted. Some examples of toys to drop off include art supplies, sports equipment, dolls and activity walkers.

For more information about the Christmas in the City program and how you can donate, contact Lexington Toyota. To contact the dealership, call (781) 861-7400 or stop by its location at 409 Massachusetts Ave in Lexington.
