Univar Solutions Announces Pledge to the Business Ambition for 1.5°C Campaign

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Dec. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Univar Solutions Inc. (NYSE: UNVR) ("Univar Solutions" or "the "Company"), a global chemical and ingredient distributor and provider of value-added services, announced today its pledge to join the 'Business Ambition for 1.5°C' campaign supported by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), of which the company is a signatory member.  Through its pledge to the campaign, the Company has set a target to achieve net carbon neutrality by 2050, in support of the campaign's goal to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
