Kolmac Outpatient Recovery Centers Announces New Annapolis Addiction Treatment Center

BURTONSVILLE, Md., Dec. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kolmac Outpatient Recovery Centers is proud to announce that its Annapolis addiction treatment center will be the latest addition to its growing network of intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment locations. As of December 9th, Kolmac will provide comprehensive addiction treatment services at this new location.

Since 1973, Kolmac has been providing a flexible and effective IOP program. This treatment was developed by industry expert and Kolmac Chief Innovation Officer George Kolodner MD. For the last four decades, our program has helped more than 30,000 men and women achieve sobriety.

A look at Kolmac's new Annapolis location

Much like Kolmac's new Frederick center, this clinic location will begin by offering an evening IOP program, which is the most popular offering at Kolmac. Over time, the Annapolis location will also offer a daytime IOP program for patients who are seeking treatment outside of evening hours.

In addition, the Annapolis addiction treatment site will launch a continuing care program. The location will also offer family support resources and develop continuing care groups to meet the needs of specific populations over time.

Licensed and experienced addiction treatment professionals will staff the new Annapolis location. The center will also give patients access to an onsite psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner who can treat coexisting mental health issues during addiction treatment.

According to Kolmac CEO Wayne Sensor, "Our goal has always been to provide highly effective addiction treatment that works with our patients' busy schedules. The offerings at our new Annapolis location will allow men and women to get the comprehensive care they need to recover from addiction without having to leave their everyday lives to receive inpatient care."

Helping even more patients with Kolmac's new Annapolis addiction treatment center

Kolmac selected Annapolis as the newest center location because the team realized it could help the men and women in the area who are seeking treatment for addiction. "Opioid addiction is a growing concern in Annapolis and around the United States, but addiction to alcohol and other substances is also prevalent. Kolmac is expanding its reach to help even more people take their lives back from these substances," Sensor explains.
