Tripp Lite's SmartPro® UPS Systems Take Top Honors for Customer Demand in CRN's 2019 Product of the Year Awards

CHICAGO, Dec. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named its SmartPro® line of UPS systems a winner for Customer Demand in the Power Management Software and Tools category of CRN's 2019 Product of the Year Awards.

For the fourth consecutive year, winners were determined using a combination of editorial selection and a survey of solution providers who are currently selling the product to capture real-world satisfaction among partners and their customers. This year's survey garnered over 5,000 responses. To be named a winner for Customer Demand, products must meet a market or customer demand and create new customer relationships or improve existing ones.

Tripp Lite's SmartPro UPS product line includes tower and rack-mount models in a range of capacities from 500 to 5000 VA. All of these UPS systems feature reliable battery backup and line-interactive operation with automatic voltage regulation (AVR). Select models have lithium iron phosphate batteries for extended service life. Communication features include serial and/or USB ports, and select models can be managed via a network card. Tripp Lite's PowerAlert® network management software, available as a free download, provides an interface for monitoring and control.

The newest SmartPro UPS systems for small networks have a feature-set usually found in larger, more expensive units. Each compact unit has a high power factor for its size, an LCD touchscreen, battery-independent restart, a home-friendly alarm and a high efficiency rating.

"CRN's 2019 Products of the Year winners demonstrate industry excellence with these top?performing products," said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. "These products and services address the evolving needs of the market and the demand for forward-leaning, innovative technology. This list should be a go-to resource for channel partners who want to advise clients about products and services that offer a high-level of value and ROI."

"Tripp Lite is honored to have our SmartPro UPS systems recognized by the editors at CRN," said Rusty Scioscia, Tripp Lite's Single-Phase UPS Product Manager. "The fact that we were also chosen by resellers is especially significant. It inspires us to continue expanding our offering to provide the best solutions available for our partners and their customers."

CRN's 2019 Products of the Year will be featured in the December issue of CRN and published online at http://www.crn.com/poty.
