Toll Brothers Unveils Avella at Civita, Luxurious Townhomes with Rooftop Decks

Sudberry Properties announces the grand opening of Avella at Civita by Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder®. Avella is a collection of 98 luxury tri-level townhomes with rooftop terraces and two-car garages at Civita, Sudberry Properties' 230-acre sustainable urban village in Mission Valley.

Located adjacent to both the picturesque Civita Park and the private Civita Recreation Center, Avella offers the height of luxury living in a low-maintenance environment.

Four home designs are offered, ranging from approximately 1,500 to 2,300 square feet. These contemporary, three-story townhomes with rooftop terraces to enjoy the city lights feature up to four bedrooms and 3.5 baths, and open concept floorplans with 18-foot ceilings in select areas. Avella includes gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and spacious islands with bar seating.

Avella also features a full range of structural and personalization options, including private elevators in some plans and a vast selection of flooring, cabinetry and countertops. Home prices start in the high $700,000s.

"Toll Brothers' Avella offers the unique combination of luxury living in a beautiful parklike setting with extensive recreation, surrounded by Mission Valley's renowned mix of shopping, entertainment and employment," said Brad Hare, Toll Brothers division president. "Avella is backed by Toll Brothers' legendary commitment to quality and customer service."

Toll Brothers, an award-winning Fortune 500 company founded in 1967, has been ranked the #1 Home Builder Worldwide on the FORTUNE Magazine "World's Most Admired Companies®" list for five years in a row.

The new Avella sales office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 2686 Franklin Ridge Rd., San Diego. Interested home shoppers are also invited to join the VIP list for updates at TollBrothers.com.

The Civita Recreation Center, which is reserved for the exclusive use of Civita homeowners and their guests, is a sprawling 2.5-acre resort destination with award-winning architecture and top-notch amenities. Outside, the beautifully designed and landscaped facility features a lagoon pool, a lap pool, two spas and picnic areas. The dramatic 8,790-square-foot clubhouse is equipped with a game room, multipurpose room, teaching kitchen, and a 3,700-square-foot fitness club.

The heart of the walkable community is the beautiful 14-acre Civita Park, which cascades down the former gravel quarry, creating a distinctive greenspace and play space. Civita Park features flowering gardens, an amphitheater, open fields and half basketball courts, "outdoor living rooms," an interactive fountain, a community garden, a dog park, and trails.

The final phases of the park, including two playgrounds, additional picnic areas and gardens, are scheduled to open in 2020.

Civita is being developed by Sudberry Properties in partnership with the Grant family, which has owned the former quarry site since the early 1900s.

Civita's emphasis on walkability is creating a community that blends the intimacy of a village with the vitality of an urban hub. As the community matures, residents will be within easy walking distance of everyday conveniences, restaurants, entertainment venues, grocery shopping, movie theaters, and shops. The first shops and an LA Fitness gym are scheduled to open next year.

Ultimately, a pedestrian bridge over Friars Road will provide easy access to the nearby trolley station. In the meantime, Civita operates a free shuttle bus during rush hours.
