Steven Ortmann Named as Outstanding General Manager of the Year
The California Hotel & Lodging Association announced its 2019 award-winners during its Stars of the Industry celebration at the Claremont Club and Spa, a Fairmont Hotel. This annual event honors the lodging employees and properties that best embody the quality service standards of the industry.
Steven Ortmann of Palm Garden Hotel has been named Outstanding General Manager of the Year by the California Hotel & Lodging Association during its Stars of the Industry Celebration. Ortmann lead a ten month, comprehensive $3 million renovation of the property. The extensive transformation includes the complete overhaul of 147 guestrooms and suites, main entrance and lobby, meeting and banquet spaces, furniture, fixtures, and the addition of an event showroom to highlight the Hotel's banquet capabilities.
