Third Party Logistics Company KDL Adopts InetSoft's Style Scope for Embedded Dashboards and Reporting

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Nov. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- InetSoft Technology, a pioneer in data intelligence, analytics, and reporting, announced that third party logistics company KDL has decided to use InetSoft's Style Scope to provide their clients with dashboards and automated reporting.

Founded in 1999, KDL is chaired by Bob Hammel who previously started Pitt-Ohio Express with his two brothers in 1979 and operated through 2003. Their lineage in transportation spans back to 1919 when Hammel's Express was started by Charles Hammel. KDL has since amassed a team of highly talented and committed individuals that provide their customers excellence in freight transportation services and logistics management.

KDL helps companies better manage freight by simplifying the complexities and inefficiencies of shipping, as well as leveraging proprietary technologies and their carrier network and team of logistics professionals. Their transportation programs provide businesses improved supply chain practices, freight savings, visibility and ultimately a significant and ongoing Return-On-Investment.

Before selecting InetSoft, KDL used a different dashboard provider to provide visualizations and online reports. However, the visualizations were not integrated seamlessly into the rest of KDL's online web portal. KDL also wanted to give their end users more self-service when it came to interactive visualizations.

"InetSoft had the right combination of price, visualization capability, and interactivity to meet our needs," explains Mike Gindlesperger, Manager of Information and Technology Services at KDL.
"Some of our more hands on customers are really going to enjoy InetSoft's ad hoc editing on interactive dashboards."

"InetSoft offers a level of self-service to the end-user unparalleled in the data visualization market," expresses Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft, "Even without data science training, business users can modify data visualizations to answer their unique questions, and save those unique views for later access."

InetSoft's Style Scope is a data intelligence platform. At its foundation is a powerful data mashup engine that enables fast and flexible transformation of data from disparate sources, which can either supplement or obviate a data warehouse solution. At the development level, a unified interface allows for easy and advanced data manipulation and design of interactive dashboards, and visual analyses. At the consumption level, self-service is maximized for a range of users, from casual business or consumer-type browsers, to power users and data scientists. As a cloud-ready, fully scalable enterprise-grade platform with granular security, multi-tenancy support, and multiple integration points, it serves both enterprises and solution providers. In either environment, ease of deployment and ease of use are chief development principles that help lower the time investment and total cost of ownership - and make the solution attractive to organizations of any size, with or without BI expertise.

InetSoft's patent pending Data Block technology enables productive reuse of queries and a unique capability for end-user defined data mashup.
