Coursera Announces Top Online Learning Trends for Brazil in 2019


Coursera, the world's leading online learning platform, today announced 2019's most popular courses for Brazilian and global learners. Brazil's more than two million learners flocked to business and tech courses on Coursera from globally-ranked Brazilian universities like Universidade de São Paulo and Insper.

"Online learning has the power to give anyone, anywhere the opportunity to learn new skills," said Dil Sidhu, Chief Content Officer at Coursera. "Brazil is one of our top markets and their learners' enthusiasm for business and tech courses illustrates a broader need for citizens to equip themselves with the necessary skills to remain competitive amid the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

Coursera currently has five Brazilian partners, while more than 30 organizations in the country use Coursera for Business to upskill their employees.

Brazil's most popular courses in 2019, measured by enrollments, include:
