Wolters Kluwer Hosts Series of GetWise Seminars to Help Tax & Accounting Professionals Learn, Network, and Elevate Their Business

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting is hosting an annual series of live and on-demand GetWise Seminars for users of its ATXtm and TaxWise® professional tax software solutions. Live seminar sessions are underway and will continue through December.

Attendees of the live GetWise Seminars can help meet their annual CPE requirements by receiving up to 16 hours of accredited CPE/CE training on topics ranging from tax law changes to managing cybersecurity risks to transforming the tax office with new technologies. By attending in-person, they also have an opportunity to interact and share best-practices with their peers, and engage with Wolters Kluwer experts to learn how technology can help transform their business to be more efficient and productive. Those unable to join in person can sign up for the weekly online GetWise Webinar Sessions, which provide them with up to 9 hours of accredited CPE/CE training, help them optimize use of ATX or TaxWise solutions, and prepare for next year's tax season.

"The accounting profession is at an inflection point with technology changing workflow and business models. Tax preparers have many reasons to feel optimistic," said Shannon Bond, Vice President and General Manager, US Preparer Market, Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting North America. "We've hosted GetWise seminars for several years and they are an excellent opportunity for our customers to connect with their peers, learn about new developments impacting their profession, and gain a better understanding of how our professional tax solutions can help them attract new clients and grow business with their existing clients."

With an easy-to-use, forms-based interface and supported by a massive forms library, ATX tax preparation software is ideal for individual preparers and small firms. Designed to get accounting professionals and their support staff up & running as quickly as possible, it's a perfect fit for firms that handle high volumes of simple returns or rely on temporary seasonal staff. Its Check Return feature gives users the ability to identify eFiling errors, omissions, overridden entries, and more. They can work on up to three returns at once, navigate easily between forms using Page, Worksheet, and Form tabs, and use the Refund Meter to track the refund or balance due with every entry.

TaxWise tax preparation software streamlines the eFiling and fee collection process from start to finish. Offered in desktop and online versions, this tax compliance solution enables users to manage their clients' documents digitally and offers popular refund options to simplify the workflow through integration with CCH® iFirm Practice Manager. The online version, TaxWise® Onlinetm, enables firms to handle high volume of returns from anywhere. The new TaxWise® Mobile solution launched earlier this year gives users a virtual 1040 interview designed to streamline tax preparation for those preparers who have a heavy focus on individual tax returns or a strong seasonal presence. Professionals have the freedom and flexibility to complete the tax preparation process via their smartphone, computer, or tablet, without having to visit an office.
