SmartBrief and WISPA Launch Publication for Wireless Internet Service Providers


Today, November 19, 2019, SmartBrief starts a new publication in partnership with the Wireless Internet Services Providers Association (WISPA).

The twice-weekly newsletter, WISPA SmartBrief, will provide telecommunications industry news and developments to the entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals working in the broadband wireless space.

WISPA represents fixed wireless internet service providers, equipment manufacturers and service vendors who provide fast, affordable broadband internet service in their largely rural communities throughout America.

"Six million individuals and businesses get their broadband from fixed wireless providers, otherwise known as WISPs. WISPA SmartBrief will cover everything these providers need to know about the changes impacting the dynamic fixed wireless broadband industry," said Isabel Kunkle, editor of WISPA SmartBrief.

WISPA's mission is to build an environment where communities grow through robust 21st century connectivity and competition. The organization strives to promote the development, advancement and unification of the fixed wireless internet service provider industry.

WISPA works to build a bipartisan congressional solution to internet openness that ensures consumer protection, anti-discrimination, robust competition and healthy broadband deployment to serve all Americans, no matter where they live.
