Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa Hosts Women's Tennis Pro Classic


TUCSON, Ariz., Nov. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa welcomes the Westward Look Women's Tennis Pro Classic, featuring many of the rising stars in today's women's tennis circuit, for the resort's third pro tennis tournament this year. The tournament, which will take place Nov. 18-24, is being held in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation and USTA. Admission is free.

The tournament, which includes world-ranked players and University of Arizona players, is a sanctioned event governed by ITF rules. Players qualified during an October event.

World-ranked players expected include the United States' Caty McNally (#105), France's Jessika Ponchet (#182), Ukraine's Anhelina Kalinina (#189) and Canada's Katherine Sebov (#192).

The main event will consist of a 32-player singles draw, plus a 16-team doubles draw and a 32-player singles qualifying event. The tournament winner will receive a wild-card entry into a future pro qualifier.
