ECFC Launches New Digital Badging Program for Members

ECFC, the leading nonprofit organization promoting choice in benefit solutions, today announced a new Digital Badging program for its members.

Through the ECFC Digital Badging program, ECFC members can now conveniently manage, verify and share their professional credentials within their networks and across their social media platforms.

"We have always been committed to helping our members achieve success by offering industry recognized credentials that are validated through certification," said ECFC Executive Director Martin Trussell. "We hope our members will take advantage of this free platform and enjoy the convenience and professional recognition afforded by our badging program."

Following a completion of an ECFC certification program, ECFC members will earn a digital badge containing metadata describing their qualifications and credentials, including how they earned their achievements. ECFC's Digital Badging also allows members to display their badges in email signatures, electronic resumes, on Linked-In profiles and anywhere they want to be recognized for attaining a new level of knowledge or a specific skill set.

By utilizing ECFC Digital Badging, members can increase their visibility, position themselves for advancement, and differentiate themselves in the job market. Other benefits include:

In addition, ECFC Digital Badging gives managers another tool in their career development program by allowing them to track engagement and monitor how many employees are downloading badges and how they are being used.

"In a data-driven world, skills must be digital and easily processed by a computer," Trussell said. "Through ECFC Digital Badging, we are empowering our members to move their careers forward with transferable and shareable proof of their skills."

The ECFC Digital Badging program is available to all members and covers the following ECFC certifications: Flexible Compensation Specialist (FCS); Certified in Flexible Compensation (CFC); Advanced Certified in Flexible Compensation (ACFC); COBRA Administration Specialist (CAS); Certified Flexible Compensation Instructor (CFCI); and Advanced Certified Flexible Compensation Instructor (ACFCI).
