2020 NVLA Annual Conference Slated for March 25-27 in Austin, TX

The National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA), voice of the independent vehicle leasing community, will hold its 52nd annual conference March 25-27 at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol in Austin, TX.

The NVLA Annual Conference is the marquee educational and networking event for the independent vehicle leasing community in North America. Over 175 leasing industry leaders from over 100 companies are expected to attend the conference in the Live Music Capital of the World, according to conference chair, Ken Sopp, president of Credit Union Leasing of America.

"The 2020 NVLA Annual Conference will feature top-notch speakers and engaging panel discussions on the most important topics in leasing," said Sopp. "The diverse program will feature speakers and panelists who are experts in their respected fields and will present on relevant topics centered on the state of our ever-changing industry."

NVLA President Doug Moore, executive vice-president and general manager of Somerville National Leasing and Rentals, noted many of the conference presentations will center on the conference theme -- Wins of Change.

"Independent vehicle lessors face many challenges and opportunities as the economy, technology, and lessee preferences continue to evolve," said Moore. "The speakers at NVLA 2020 will provide guidance and expertise on how lessors should continuously adapt and change to continue to win during this time of unprecedented change."

The 2020 program will also feature a dual track format including sessions aimed at traditional commercial fleet and consumer lessors and a track focusing on the growing Lease Here Pay Here (LHPH) business model. The LHPH track is aimed to give attendees the tools, resources, and connections needed to build and grow a successful LHPH business.

In addition to top-notch speakers, the NVLA Conference will feature two networking receptions and musical entertainment from Reid Umstattd, singer/songwriter and contestant on NBC's The Voice.

Founded in 1968, NVLA provides educational opportunities, promotes responsible legislation and communicates with members regarding developments and trends in vehicle leasing. NVLA promotes the leasing concept while encouraging the highest ethical and professional standards. Membership is made up of independent leasing companies, automobile dealerships, banks, credit unions and suppliers of goods and services to lessors.
