Team Fastraxtm Skydivers To Entertain Spectators At Bridge Day

FAYETTEVILLE, W.V., Oct. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On Saturday, Oct. 19, Bridge Day will commence at New River Gorge in Fayetteville, WV. Thousands of people gather on the New River Gorge Bridge to watch daredevils base jump into the gorge below.

Team Fastraxtm will perform their fan-favorite patriotic demonstration with their 2,000 sq. ft. American flag.

According to the Bridge Day website, there will be many activities at various times of the day, such as base jumping, rappelling, Xpogo stunting, skydiving, BMX biking, highlining, catapulted base jumping, and whitewater rafting. The first Bridge Day was held on Nov. 8, 1980 when two people parachuted from a plane onto the bridge. The Taste of Bridge Day occurs on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, and showcases the area's most excellent restaurants and caterers offering samples of their menu specialties.

Team Fastraxtm dedicates every performance to a local fallen hero. They may be gone but are not forgotten. This performance by Team Fastraxtm is dedicated to Larry Lemaster, who joined Team Fastraxtm in 2015, and is a native of Flatwoods, KY and former member of the US Army. Larry had over 21 years of experience skydiving and 20 years of experience BASE jumping. He accumulated over 6,000 skydives and over 700 BASE jumps during his carrier. He was a USPA rated tandem, static line, and IAD instructor and FAA senior parachute rigger. Larry was a Professional Exhibition (PRO) rated exhibition skydiver and pyro specialist, big flag specialist in base and skydiving and tandem skydive specialist.
