LifeNet Health brings first clinically proven allograft-based biologic wound therapy to India

HYDERABAD, India, Oct. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeNet Health's Dermacell AWM^®, the world's most-advanced acellular dermal matrix (ADM) for wound treatment, is the first human ADM available in India. This introduction provides access to proven therapy for millions of patients in India suffering from chronic wounds.

Each year, as many as 100,000 patients in India face amputation due to a chronic wound. With more than 65 million people with diabetes and 7.5 million new cases diagnosed each year, the incidence of severe wounds and amputation is steadily increasing in India.
