Local Business Owner Brings TruBlue Total House Care to Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Local business owner Edward Charity, Jr. is pleased to announce the launch of his new home improvement and maintenance company ? TruBlue of Alexandria.

TruBlue is a full-service company that provides handyman, house cleaning, emergency repairs, yard/lawn care and seasonal services that are perfect for busy families, seniors and anyone who want the comforts of their own home without worrying about critical property maintenance. TruBlue of Alexandria serves all of the city of Alexandria and portions of Arlington County. By the spring of 2020, TruBlue of Alexandria will be serving all of Arlington County.

"Everyone wants to love their home, but not everyone wants to deal with the maintenance that comes with it. Many people either don't know how to, don't have the ability to, or would rather pay someone else to handle home maintenance for them. I opened TruBlue of Alexandria because I saw a need for a trustworthy, one-call-does-it-all company to help seniors and busy professionals maintain their homes," Charity said. "Our mission is to strive to be the trusted partner in the care and management of our customers' residential and commercial properties."

To assist those with ongoing home care needs or who want to take property management off their plates entirely, TruBlue has a monthly House Care Plus program, which enables clients to hire TruBlue to provide regular, monthly maintenance. TruBlue also works with homeowners, realtors and rental property owners who need to quickly get homes move-in ready and keep them maintained, and has commercial services for business clients.

Charity lived in Alexandria from 1988 through 2002 and moved to Arlington in 2003. He is a member of Alfred Street Baptist Church of Alexandria, where he is currently a member of the Budget and Finance Committee and the Affordable Housing Advisory Team. Charity has an adult daughter who attended Burgundy Farm Country Day School in Alexandria, graduated from Yorktown High School in Arlington and graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Charity has a degree in accounting and was part of the early adoption of personal computers for accounting and financial analysis. He combined his accounting education and interest in information technology to drive his career into the accounting and project management information systems field. Charity ran his own professional service firm, Project Management Systems Consultants, LLC, from 2004 through 2019 before opening TruBlue of Alexandria.

Charity was successful in the accounting and professional services fields but realized, after more than 30 years, he was ready to leave the office. Owning his own business gave him the opportunity to step back and think about what else he wanted to do with his career. He began to look at different opportunities and discovered a need for professional home maintenance services.

"I grew up with an uncle who could build or fix anything, which inspired my love of home improvement. When I discovered TruBlue, I realized this was something I would enjoy doing that could really help people. I'm looking forward to helping seniors and busy families and professionals in Alexandria City and Arlington County, Virginia," Charity said.

All TruBlue employees are licensed, bonded and insured. To learn more about TruBlue of Alexandria, call 703-832-4500, email [email protected] or visit http://www.TruBlueHouseCare.com/Alexandria.
