Tabitha Health Chooses Software Leader Homecare Homebase

DALLAS, Oct. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nonprofit Tabitha Health, Nebraska's industry-leading Senior Care expert, has selected Homecare Homebase (HCHB) to optimize two major lines of its growing home health care and hospice services in 28 counties across the state.

The quality-award winning Tabitha had been seeking a customized solution to increase overall efficiency and take on the complex coding and compliance requirements of the new Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) set to impact home health care on January 1st. They also wanted a person-centered hospice solution that was flexible and designed to meet the growing demands of their patient population.

Based on multiple recommendations from internal staff who had previously used HCHB software, Tabitha met with HCHB and quickly realized that this software leader could help them streamline documentation, eliminate duplicate entries and easily input all required data right at the point of care.

Tabitha CFO, Darcie Brink said, "After seeing the HCHB software demo and ROI Analysis, it was clear to me and Tabitha's Informatics Team that we could proactively manage episodes of care, offer optimized clinical guidance, boost productivity AND be ready for PDGM."

The Tabitha Executive Team moved quickly to begin training and testing in close collaboration with the HCHB implementation experts. Tabitha team members are excited about having a robust platform that delivers exactly what they need to provide compassionate care to their patients and families.

Homecare Homebase President Scott Decker said he's pleased to have another new customer up and running before PDGM begins. "We know the immense challenges agencies face in this new era of data-intensive, performance-based care. Whether it's home health or hospice, we're working with agencies of all sizes to develop new products and services to help them thrive in the future of home-based care.
