Innophos Recognized for Commitment to Board Diversity

Innophos Holdings, Inc. announced today that it has been recognized by the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) organization and the 2020 Women on Boards campaign for its commitment to board diversity. In addition, in support of the company's commitment to empowering women in business, Dr. Kim Ann Mink, Chairman, President & CEO, will participate as a featured speaker at two upcoming women business leadership events.

Innophos, which achieved gender parity on its Board of Directors in 2018, was recently named to EWNJ's biennial "A Seat at the Table Honor Roll" list recognizing the impact the company has made on gender diversity by appointing three or more women to its corporate Board of Directors. The company also was recently awarded the 2020 Women on Boards Winning "W" Company Certificate in recognition of having more than 20% female board representation.

"Diversity and inclusion are an integral part of our culture and our strategy, and we are honored to be recognized for that," said Dr. Mink. "Our ongoing commitment to create a culture of inclusion throughout the organization ? from our Board of Directors to our executive team and across our entire employee base ? is key to our success and benefits the Innophos team, our customers and our shareholders."

With 50% women representation on its board, Innophos is in good but limited company with only 10 S&P 500 companies having boards that are comprised of at least 50% women, according to The Washington Post. 43% of Innophos' executive team are female.

Advocating for the Advancement of Women in the Workplace
The company has a long-standing commitment to supporting the advancement of women in the workplace. CEO Kim Ann Mink will participate in two upcoming events to continue this tradition.

On Friday, September 20th, Dr. Mink will participate as a panelist at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association's (NJBIA) 5th Annual Women Business Leaders Forum where more than 500 women and men from across the state of New Jersey will gather to exchange ideas, gain leadership skills and identify ways to help women make headway in corporate leadership.

On Tuesday, September 24th, Dr. Mink will join EWNJ for a Master Class event, where she will participate in a conversation with the organization's President Emerita Michellene Davis, Esq., EVP & Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at RWJBarnabas Health, on a variety of leadership topics including the role of mentorship and sponsorship in career success, leadership attributes critical to successfully navigating career challenges, and Dr. Mink's personal career journey from scientist to CEO.

"I am honored to participate in these two upstanding leadership events that reflect my personal commitment to advance the role of women in business, as well as Innophos' longstanding support of diversity and inclusion as core organizational values," said Dr. Mink.
