Omnitracs, LLC, a global pioneer of fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies, today announced the appointment of Dr. Ashim Bose as Chief Data Scientist and Vice President of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Data. In this role, Bose will oversee Omnitracs' data and AI offerings and operations, helping customers with actionable insights that support their broader business goals.

Today, all facets of the transportation industry are being impacted by next-generation technology, with the AI market in transportation (AITS) estimated to grow by close to 20 percent annually to 10.30 billion dollars by 2030. Before joining Omnitracs, he served as the Chief Product Officer for Analytics and AI at DXC Technology, where he launched several innovative data, analytics and AI products across the transportation and automotive industries. Prior to that, he also held several executive leadership roles in HP Enterprise Services' Travel & Transportation and Automotive verticals.
