Truth Center Engages Real Issues For Real People in New Port Washington Location
NEW YORK, Aug. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Truth Center, a non-denominational Christian church celebrates the opening of its new location in Port Washington, NY. Nestled between the Long Island Railroad station and prime Main Street corridor; the church's timely arrival occurs amidst the area's recent revitalization project.
In partnership with Maverick Construction, Neal Lenstrom Construction, Upgrade Maintenance and a host of strategic partners; the first phase of renovation has transformed the former Elks Lodge into a modern sanctuary with state of the art technology, a cafe and executive office space. The second phase of remodeling includes a multi-purpose event space for church and community programming including live entertainment, educational and social gatherings. Prior to the launch, the ministry conducted services in Roslyn since its establishment in 2003.
With over thirty-five years of devoted ministry leadership, Dr. Keith and Barbara Pettus pastor a vibrant, intergenerational congregation with community at the heart of its mission. "We began this journey five years ago and overcame several obstacles that hindered an earlier arrival. We're so elated that it has finally been brought to fruition," says Dr. Pettus. Men's Ministry, Women of Truth Ministry, Marriage Lab, Singles (PSOD) Ministry, ENCOUNTER Student Ministry, The King's Jewels Children's Ministry, True Care Outreach Ministry, and True Worship & Creative Arts Ministry.
