Global Micro-mobility Solutions Company, Frog Scooters, Hires Brad Almond as CEO


AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Austin, Texas-based global micro-mobility solutions company, Frog Scooters, Inc., announces it has tapped Bradley C. Almond as its Chief Executive Officer.

Starting today, Brad will "hit the ground scooting" to ensure Frog continues its positive momentum of working in partnership with cities around the globe to deploy its commercial grade, heavy-duty scooters to have a presence on four continents by the end of the year.

With over 30 years of experience in the tech sector, Brad joins Frog from customer information systems company, Vertex Business Services in Dallas. For the past six years as Vertex's CFO and as a Business Unit General Manager, he helped guide the company to become a wholly SaaS-based business, resulting in a successful sale of the company in July of 2019. Prior to Vertex, Brad held a wide scope of positions around the globe in international tech companies including CFO, President, Regional General Manager and Board Member.

Brad brings heavy tech experience and a proven track record in both domestic and international settings of building and leading high-performance teams across all business disciplines. Brad started his career with KPMG and prior to Vertex, he worked at Nortel Networks, Entrust, Inc., Zix Corporation, and Cambium Learning Group. He has a B.B.A. in accounting from Texas A&M, as well as an M.B.A in International Finance from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School, and an M.A. in International Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently a Doctoral candidate at Southern Methodist University in the part-time Doctor of Liberal Studies program with a focus on Sustainability.

He joins Mark and others on the Frog executive leadership team including:
Co-Founder Christian Okonsky, COO Felipe Correa, CMO Jennifer Koen, and CTO Marcus Turner.
