Five New U.S. Finalists Named in IsaBody Challenge To Compete for $25,000

GILBERT, Ariz., Aug. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Isagenix International, a global health and wellness company providing nutrition and lifestyle solutions, has announced its second round of U.S. finalists for its annual total-body transformation program, the IsaBody Challenge®.

The five second-round finalists are Chris Robinson of Waxhaw, North Carolina; Kristyn Koegel of Mebane, North Carolina; Becky Sanow of Elkhorn, Nebraska; Reginald Jackson of Dumfries, Virginia; and Sarah Keepers of Eugene, Oregon. These individuals were selected out of the thousands of people across the United States who completed the IsaBody Challenge during the most recent Judging Period.

The first Judging Period also resulted in five finalists, announced in early June. The 10 finalists named so far have won a $3,000 prize and the chance to compete for the grand prize of $25,000 or the runner-up prize of $10,000. Finalists also receive a $200 product coupon, a photo shoot, an all-expenses-paid trip to the IsaBodytm Escape for themselves and a guest, and other prizes to recognize their achievements.

Each finalist ? including a third round of finalists announced later this year ? will be introduced onstage at the New Year Kick Off 2020 event in January in Phoenix, Arizona, in front of nearly 5,000 attendees. The grand prize winner and runner-up will be announced at this inspiring event. The IsaBody Challenge and New Year Kick Off are both hosted by Isagenix.

"Our most recent U.S. finalists have showed impressive dedication to making their health and wellness goals a reality. Their hard work has inspired not only their families and loved ones but also everyone at Isagenix," said Travis Ogden, chief executive officer of Isagenix. "We're thrilled our exceptional nutrition solutions served as a foundation for their success, and we wish them the best as they prepare to compete for the grand prize in January."

Meet the Finalists

Chris Robinson, North Carolina
Age: 47
Total Challenges Completed: 1
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 20 pounds*
After an injury ended his seven-year career in the New York City Fire Department, Chris was frustrated at his inability to get his youthful body back. Add to that the stress of life ? unexpectedly losing his mom, moving from New York to North Carolina, and getting the surprise of baby No. 4 ? and Chris was not where he wanted to be, mentally or physically. He knew he needed to do something, and the IsaBody Challenge helped him change not only his physique but also his mindset.

Kristyn Koegel, North Carolina
Age: 40
Total Challenges Completed: 5
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 21 pounds*
As a single mom, Kristyn usually had custody of her sons half of the time, but after she and her husband decided it would be best for her to have them full time, her health and fitness journey was put on a roller coaster. To be there for her kids, Kristyn had to cut her gym time in half, but luckily, she took the opportunity to focus on her nutrition. She started listening to her own coaching and advice, and once she put her words into action, it was a game changer. She has lost and kept off more than 20 pounds.

Becky Sanow, Nebraska
Age: 43
Total Challenges Completed: 8
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 10 pounds*
At 25, Becky was living her dream playing professional soccer. But after five knee surgeries, her career came to an end. For the next five years, she coached collegiate soccer and stayed as active as she could, but that led to a sixth surgery and her doctor telling her she was partially disabled. She could not do any heavy lifting, run, or be extremely active unless she wanted a knee replacement by 40. Becky lived by those rules with constant discomfort in her body, but after being introduced to Isagenix, she started dreaming again. Now, she's using the Isagenix products and this Challenge to stay in shape between her physique competitions.

Reginald Jackson, Virginia
Age: 56
Total Challenges Completed: 4
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 6 pounds*
With the help of his Isagenix mentors and support from past IsaBody Finalists, Reginald has finally been able to make the connection between what he already knew about business and sharing Isagenix as an independent distributor. He's now showing others how they can change their lives with nutrition ? motivating, inspiring, and challenging them to become better and greater versions of themselves.

Sarah Keepers, Oregon
Age: 37
Total Challenges Completed: 8
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 21 pounds*
Sarah has struggled almost all her life with her weight and body image, always comparing herself to models in magazines. She had a difficult relationship with food, and her mind was consumed with how she looked. While she's not completely over that, she can say with confidence that she is so much better today than when she started. Now, her goal is to be healthy, fit, and strong, and the IsaBody Challenge is what holds her accountable.

*Weight loss, muscle gain, lifestyle, and other results depicted here reflect exceptional individual experiences of Isagenix customers and should not be construed as typical or average. Results vary with individual effort, body composition, eating patterns, time, exercise, and other factors, such as genetic and physiological makeup. A two-phase 2016 study published by researchers at Skidmore College showed an average weight loss of 24 pounds after 12 weeks. The study evaluated the use of Isagenix products in men and women for weight loss followed by weight maintenance. During the weight maintenance phase, the subjects who continued the calorie-controlled program using Isagenix products better maintained their weight loss in comparison to those who transitioned to a traditional diet after 52 weeks.
