Experts from The Standard to Present at 2019 DMEC Annual Conference
Dan Jolivet, workplace possibilities consultant and Andrea Weiner, mental health consultant for The Standard, are presenting Aug. 6 at the Disability Management Employer Coalition Annual Conference. Taking place Aug. 5 ? 8 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C., the conference offers leave professionals with solutions and strategies to improve the outcomes, integration and compliance of their absence and disability management programs.
Jolivet and Weiner will present The Employee Resiliency Initiative: A Guide to Improving Behavioral Health with Tamara Parker, lead benefits analyst from CenturyLink. Presenters will share how high stress in call centers was impacting CenturyLink's claims incidence, claims durations and employee turnover. They'll describe the steps taken to confront these challenges through a multi-tiered approach. And they'll highlight how they were able to improve behavioral health results by increasing employee resiliency programs, supporting managers with appropriate tools and resources and providing reasonable workplace accommodations for employees.
