The class action also alleges that Hospital Couriers Nevada, LLC, failed to properly reimburse their California employees for necessary business expenses they incurred on the company's behalf. The Hospital Couriers Nevada, LLC, class action is currently pending in the Contra Costa County Superior Court for the State of California, Case No. C19-01377. The lawsuit filed against Hospital Couriers Nevada, LLC, alleges that the company failed to provide their California employees with the legal required thirty (30) minute uninterrupted meal break prior to their fifth hour of work. The complaint alleges, "DEFENDANT from time to time failed to provide all the legally required off-duty meal breaks to PLAINTIFF and the other CALIFORNIA LABOR SUB-CLASS Members as required by the applicable Wage Order and Labor Code."

The Class action lawsuit also alleges that the company violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by unlawfully, unfairly and/or deceptively having in place company policies, practices and procedures that uniformly obtained credit reports on prospective employees without first obtaining valid authorization consent forms.
