Ground Labs Establishes Austin Headquarters to Continue North American Growth, Taps Don Kaye as Chief Revenue Officer

Ground Labs, the leading provider of sensitive data discovery solutions, today established Austin as its new North American headquarters, to be led by Co-CEO and Chief Architect Peter Duthie. As it continues to experience exponential growth, Ground Labs is also bolstering its executive leadership team, today naming Don Kaye its chief revenue officer.

The company's continued expansion into North America will be led by Duthie, who co-founded the company in 2008 with Stephen Cavey. Duthie created the foundational technologies that empower Ground Labs' customers to discover, identify and secure all of their sensitive data and assembled the engineering team that created Ground Labs' solutions for its enterprise and SMB customers. The Austin operations will be home to sales and marketing, customer relations and engineering teams focused on expanding Ground Labs' North American presence.

Kaye will be responsible for leading and growing Ground Labs' global enterprise sales team while building out sales and marketing programs in North America. He has extensive technology sales and marketing management experience, with leadership roles at companies in EMEA, North America and Asia. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Kaspersky Lab North America, where he led operational and sales performance across enterprise, SMB, tangible and digital consumer business units. Prior to this role, Kaye spent nearly 14 years in sales leadership and corporate management roles at Microsoft.
