Jim Myers, of Crown Automotive Group, Throws First Pitch For Charity at Rays Game

TAMPA BAY, Fla., July 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jim Myers, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Crown Automotive Group, threw out the Ceremonial First Pitch on July 7, 2019, prior to the Tampa Bay Rays taking on the New York Yankees. The symbolic pitch was part of an on-field presentation as the Rays Baseball Foundation presented a $40,000 check to the nonprofit organization Starting Right, Now. Rays President Matt Silverman is chairman of Starting Right, Now.

Jim Myers, a board member of Starting Right, Now was selected by the organization to be their spokesperson. He was accompanied during the presentation by a few of the hard-working students from the local Starting Right, Now home.

To make the evening even more special, the Rays downed their division rivals, the Yankees, 2 to 1 to further close the gap between the leaders of the American League East Division.
