Former USC Associate General Counsel Joins Carlson & Jayakumar LLP as Partner

Before joining Carlson and Jayakumar, Ms. Delcampo served as Associate General Counsel for USC Health Sciences where she supervised the health sciences attorneys, providing legal support to the university's health system, which included three hospitals and a several-hundred-physician medical group. Ms. Delcampo and her team also supported the Keck School of Medicine, and the Schools of Pharmacy, Social Work, and Dentistry. Prior to joining USC, Ms. Delcampo served as General Counsel for a Southern California-based ambulance service company for two-years, and as Senior Counsel with Hooper Lundy & Bookman, P.C. for six-years. There, she provided legal support to clients in the areas of HIPAA, privacy, and informed-consent issues, and litigated complex managed-care cases. Some of Ms. Delcampo's current and former clients include Large Hospital Systems, Academic Medical Centers, Ambulance Services Providers; Independent Physician Associations (IPA)s; Medical Groups; Physician Practice Groups; Community Hospitals; and Limited Knox-Keene Licensed Entities.

Ms. Delcampo earned her Master of Health Administration (M.H.A.) degree from the University of Southern California, her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her B.A. from Drake University. She is admitted to practice law in all California and Hawaii state courts.
